I have been commercially developing database driven web applications for a little over a decade now, designing software supporting retail operations, accounting, compliance, energy management and hardware solutions worldwide. It's been a blast and it's what I still do every day but my fine art background and a persuasive inner geek requires me to release my creativity elsewhere.
Ever since childhood I found fantasy and science fiction fascinating and by the age of 12 I was completely lost for the world in RPGs of all shapes and sizes and I would have started sketching out one of my own. Ethernal - the world described by the mobile game we're making, has naturally evolved over hundreds of session me and my friends and their friends thereafter have played out in tabletop rpg adventures. Over years we have described to each other the world of the game in such detail, that writing it down now is too much of a task for a mortal being. The solution was obvious. I have designed a game engine that would allow a back end control of all in game assets, which I could then populate with great help from my friends and family.
Hi! I'm Marek. I'm a programmer and a passionate gamer.
I've been programming web-driven applications commercially for 3 years now and recently I've been able to join the Ethernalis team to help Jack with the coding-side of the project. I always thought that I'd really like to create games. I've spent countless hours playing them. In the Ethernalis team my job usually relates to developing and/or fixing the tools that are used by our content-makers to help them bring the world to life.
I also like to bug-hunt the game and annoy Jack with requesting little user-experience features. The next thing you should probably know about me is that writing about myself is not one my strengths and my that my "aboutme"'s are usually short. Having said that - I hope that one day we'll be able to meet in the dangerous lands of Ethernalis.
My name is Baska and I will be your first point of contact trying to stay on top of things here at the studio. We have been very busy preparing the alpha release and I am looking after the social media to keep you up to date on the developments. When possible I also help on the artistic side of the game development.
Since of a young age I've been enthralled by pen and paper rpgs, from systems like World of Darkness to the high fantasy setting of Dungeons and Dragons, I've spent many years experiencing all that the systems have to offer. The World of Darkness system with its rich lore and vile creatures became the primary inspiration for me when designing the cards that you find in game.
In reality I never was given the opportunity to join any large commercial grade project such as this, so I'm super excited and motivated exploring the ever expanding realm of Ethernalis with you. My role in this project is to create art assets that you find during gameplay, that bring with them the very special atmosphere of the Ethernalis.

I am your Game Master, I am the law – the only thing that could save anyone from me is a set of dice with a lucky throw. Possessed by inner insanity I present to you the darkness within Ethernalis – The Undead Legion Campaign is just one of the first I'm planning to throw your way. If only you would dare to delve right through the dungeons and survive the unspeakable horrors. You will experience and be able to test me as your guide through the world that was created almost a decade ago, evolving with each new session by many other GMs. Hours upon hours have been dedicated to old classic pen & paper rpgs making us more than ready to challenge your creative minds.
World of Darkness, Dungeon and Dragons, Forgotten Realms, Cyber Punk, Earth Dawn, Warhammer and many other rpg systems out there have been a major influence on how I lead my sessions. With over thousands of hours of gameplay, with more than 100 players all around the world, I do what I can to bring you the best experience there is.
My part in NSNC Ethernalis Project – is to incorporate insane and dark themes into every single aspect of the game. If any of you who already tried our game think that it is too hard... well you haven't seen anything yet. Dying an abhorrent amount of times and being ambushed by countless enemies are just the little things I do to make your life a living hell.
Hate me if you will – because I will dedicate all my time into making this truly an epitome of the dark fantasy genre.
I'm Kuba the run of the mill artist, geek, cosplayer and one of the members of the Ethernalis developer team. My job is to edit all the text that you see in game and to make sure to the consistency of descriptions and the atmosphere of the game.
Short and sweet as that description maybe it takes many long hard hours for the team to develop the descriptions, encounters and all the loot that you can carry. So discrepancies are bound to happen. That is where I come in, making sure that everything is right with the world when players depart on their first adventure to the vast realm of Ethernalis.
2012 is when I began to fully delve into the world of pen and paper rpgs - becoming completely engulfed by the lore that who ever was leading at the time would establish. Even after all that time I can still remember my first character, fending of demonic hordes with holy fervour. We all have our experiences that we keep close to our hearts and the times I spent with my friends developing unknown worlds will be with me forever. So when Jack came to me one day, asking me if I wanted to help out with his project, I simply had to say yes. If you want to see the typical shenanigans I partake in and any of my work do check out my personal twitter account @surposs.
I'm an artist by trade specialising in a variety of different media such as illustration, sculpture, animation and film. Throughout my many years working in the comic book industry I've worked with a multitude of publishing houses and content creators from across the world. Recently I have indulged myself in working with independent game developers. In my spare time, when I'm away from any major projects, I usually spend my time on personal projects I've always wanted to do. Aside from that I am a music enthusiast as well as classic horror films from the 1980's.
I joined onto the Ethernalis team as an artist - working on the various monstrosities and beasts that you will encounter throughout your adventures. I've been tasked with other aspects of the game such as locations as well however my primary focus in this project is the enemy design.
If any of you want to check my other pieces of work which I've done in the past or what I'm currently working on do follow me @JacekZabawaART
Magnificent thank you to all that has supported us in those early stages of development of our Video Game. Additional special thanks for all involved in the creation of the Ethernal fantasy RPG system.
